Two former ANDRA Pro Series champions are set to return at the Winternationals.
Pro Stock sees Peter Ridgeway entered while Top Bike features Gavin Spann making a comeback too.
Ridgeway dominated Pro Stock throughout the early 2000s and now has a Don Ness Holden Monaro with a Ridgeway Motorsports 400ci V8 under the bonnet. Ridgeway won four championships during his last stint in Pro Stock and was the first to break into the 7 second zone and to go over 300kmh. Will he be the first to the sixes?
Spann still holds the title of Australia’s quickest nitrous-assisted motorcycle but has a new beast to tame – the ex-Peter Pearce Trett nitro four cylinder. This machine never saw its true potential reached but should have the capacity to mix it up with the likes of new champion Chris Matheson and the always quick Jay Upton.
