The newest team to hit the ranks of the ANDRA Pro Series is set to make their debut January 14 – 15 at the second round of the ANDRA Pro Series at the Willowbank New Year’s Series. Prior to their time in Pro Stock, the team has spent many years in the Super Stock divisions, where they have held numerous Australian records.
“I’m definitely looking forward to making the transition to Pro Stock. The last few weeks we have spent numerous days at the race track, getting data and perfecting the setup for the car. I am happy to report with full confidence that we have been able to gain some data during this time,” reported team driver, Emilio Spinozzi.
Spinozzi will be running a Pontiac GTO with naming rights sponsorship from Terra Civil, a company that works on many large civil construction projects for the NSW Government and private sector. The engine will be supplied by Rino Conte of RC Performance Engines and car chassis setup by Frank Zagari of Zagari Engineering both businesses based in Adelaide, South Australia.
“Taking into consideration the amount of time and effort that CNS Motorsports have taken into ensuring that all of the t’s have been crossed and the “I’s” have been dotted is overwhelming. However, in saying that, it gives us the confidence that we will be able to hit the ground running come January 14 – 15,” said Spinozzi.
