In a statement from Sydney Dragway it has been announced that Australian drag racing champion Jim Read has given his resignation from the Board of Western Sydney International Dragway effective immediately.
Mr Read has also advised the Board he would no longer have any involvement in the day to day operations at the track.
The Board accepted his resignation with regret and wished Jim Read all the best for the future.
