John Zappia and Gary Phillips lead the Pro Slammer and Pro Alcohol fields respectively at the 45th Westernationals at the completion of qualifying, while also on the card was the completion of the washed out Nitro Slam event for Pro Slammer and Top Bike.
A wild semi final saw Peter Kapiris touch up the wall against Pino Priolo, before Priolo went on to defeat Mark Belleri in the final. In Top Bike Mark Drew was unstoppable as his Harley thundered to the win against Greg Durack’s turbo Kawasaki.
