NHRA Funny Car “pilot” Jack Beckman attempted a low orbit when his nitro machine literally took off during NHRA’s pre season testing.
Beckman the 2015 NHRA championship runner-up has clocked the quickest time in testing with a sub-national record 1000ft run of 3.880 just ahead of Courtney Force’s 3.904.

In Top Fuel Tony Schumacher is on point with a thundering 3.68 ahead of Dave Connolly and Doug Kalitta with 3.71 laps.
