Anthony Begley was in the first round of competition at his home track Perth Motorplex for the Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car Series, all strapped in and ready to go. The team fired the nitro-breathing LA Hooker Funny Car and lowered the body, only to catch Begley’s hand between the tinwork and the chassis.
It looks pretty painful, with Begley’s eyes showing the surprise of the moment, but with plenty of adrenaline coursing through his veins he was still able to make his pass.
