Dragnews Australia will bring to you trackside coverage of ANDRA Pro Series Pro Stock round from Sydney Dragway this Friday and Saturday the 8th and 9th of April.
Twenty one naturally aspirated beasts will attempt to qualify for the 16 car field in order to position themselves for a run at the points lead . Currently Aaron Tremayne holds a 29 point lead over Dave Newcombe after the washed out March round, however there are plenty of teams within striking distance of this pair.
The event may also see Australia’s first 6 second pass from these tough small blocks and it’s anyone’s guess which team will make history, although leading the pack at the moment must be Victorian Lee Bektash with his Mopar.
With fine weather forecast for the round expect to see some tough qualifying action and some close racing on elimination day. Our coverage will bring you all the action and drama of three rounds of qualifying from 6:30pm on Friday evening and four elimination rounds on Saturday starting at 4:30pm. This meeting also incorporates round 6 of the track championship.
