A total of seven Australian teams took part in Hot Rod Drag Week last week across Illinois and Wisconsin, taking in four different tracks over five days of racing.
Drag News Magazine editor Luke Nieuwhof was seconded by our friends over at Street Machine Magazine to take video and put together a mini series of the week’s action. The Aussies included perennial Drag Weeker John Faraone in his seven second Valiant Charger who endured heartbreak yet again on day four, Harry Haig’s crazy turbo Chevelle known as Steve-o, Brian Jensen’s naturally aspirated Holden Torana (which took home an award in the small block class), Mark Arblaster’s turbo LS1 Valiant, Craig Moar’s Buick Regal, Jamie Farmer’s twin turbo Ford ute and for the first time Top Fuel driver Richie Crampton, who built a patina-heavy 57 Chev Wagon for the occasion.
Check out all the action below!
