With tragic passing of Anita Board, it is often hard to pay tribute with words. So around the country racers young and old paid their respects and to honour Anita in a range of personal gestures and gatherings at drag racing venues. We have shown you some of those moments of respect already, however from Sydney Dragway, Madman Productions has put together an emotional video from a day dedicated to Anita.
Neil Larsen has created this wonderful video from Sydney Dragway’s Atura Championship season finale, where the local Junior Dragster racers offered their tributes to the young lady racer, as the track chaplain said his prayers, and Denis Plessas made a single solo run in Anita’s memory. Mixed with footage and imagery from similar gatherings around the country, Neil spent the day capturing plenty of emotion.
