Perth Motorplex’s local dates have been announced at last, with the WA State Government confirming they will operate the venue for another season as they continue to search for a buyer.
Most of the dates stay consistent with previous seasons, but the major difference for the coming season will be a lack of national professional racing courtesy of the 400 Thunder Series. Only three events have major features, being the Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars on January 5, Nitro Night on February 2 with two big show Funny Cars and the Aeroflow Nitro Hot Rods on March 24.
The season also hosts three rounds of the Summit Sportsman Series, being the Goldenstates on December 1, the Westernationals on March 2/3 and the ANDRA Grand Finals on April 6/7 – a first for Western Australia.
