The championship in Top Eliminator was taken out by Matt Abel’s doorslammer, with Troy Wittwer taking the win points at the N.T finals in his Studebaker over Butch Morrison.

Ashley Smith made up for his foul start at the last round to win Super Modified in his Camaro with a nice 8.516 on a 8.50 against Allan Applebee who went too quick with the Gemini. But it was Michael Dureau who hung on for the championship by 10 points.

In Modified Bike Adam Rapp cleaned house for the second event in a row, defeating Mike Lockhart in the final, but the late season charge wasn’t enough to catch the championship leader Mark Tattingham.

A red light from Lyndsay Burmester in the Super Street final gave Gavin Pocock the easiest of wins in his Falcon ute. Though it was Justin Neck who gathered enough points to win the track championship.

The duelling Harris and Abel families were at it again in Junior Dragster, this time it was Brooke Harris taking her second straight event win by defeating Michelle Abel with a perfect 9.360 on a 9.36 pass. Unfortunately for Brooke, she fell short of catching Aidan Abel for the title.

The Torana of Glenn Harris won the lollies in Street Car over Grant Radcliffe’s big 300C. But overall the 300C was dominant in the points across the who season with daylight to second place in the championship.

Finally Allan Henry drilled Tony Duren to the tree in the Street Bike final leading Duren to breakout trying to make up the difference in the top end.  The win is what Henry also needed to snatch the championship from Reece Tjung by just ten points.

The track and racers now take cover for the approaching wet and will be back out in 2019.
