Following four years and six podiums with the ‘Bumblebee’ Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car, Queensland’s Jake Donnelly will hang up his nitro Helmet after the upcoming Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars event on October 27 at Willowbank Raceway to pursue the 400 Thunder Professional Series in Pro Alcohol.
DBS Motorsport are excited to announce the new purchase of a 2017 Camaro Pro Alcohol Funny Car from the USA, and it won’t be long before you’ll see Jake behind the wheel competing in the 400 Thunder Pro Alcohol Series.
“I loved racing the Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car series with ‘Bumblebee’, but I’ve really missed competing in a championship series,” said Jake Donnelly.
“So this is the next step – my dream has always been get into the seat of Pro Alcohol Funny Car and race in the professional category.”
Although Jake will be focusing on the Pro Alcohol car come the New Year, you’ll still see brother Dan piloting the ‘Avenger’ in the Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro series.
