The return of championship drag racing in South Australia with the ANDRA Pro Series 1000 event at Adelaide International Raceway is gaining momentum, Rino D’Alfonso the event promoter has made the following announcement.
“We are proud to announce that we already have well over 150 entries from Australia wide, with 4 Top Fuel Drivers entered already being:
Darren Morgan
Phil Lamattina
Damien Harris
Andrew Cowin
And are still awaiting confirmation from 3 more.
April 13th, 14th and 15th is going to be one of the biggest days drag racing has seen with nothing better than getting the closest Nitro experience available compared to any other race track.
We still have plenty of spots available for Super Gas, Extreme Outlaws, Modified Bike, Modified and Junior Dragster.
Super Street and Super Sedan at this stage are full, but please give me a call if you are in either one of these classes to put your name down on the standby list.
For anyone who is interested in the Extreme Outlaw bracket this is where we will be accepting all supercharged, turbo charged and nitrous type vehicles to race, so it could be a turbo powered rotary or a twin turbo late model Holden/Ford versus some of the big V8s.
