The National Drag Racing Championship (NDRC) has today announced two major additions to the 2026 calendar.

It has been a somewhat tumultuous year for the Queensland Drag Racing Championship. Over half the events to date finished with out much of result due a luckless run with the weather, this weekend (Nov 14) the teams shape up for season’s Grand Final which will be in support of the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

2025 Street Machine Magazine Drag Challenge criss-crossed the southern states once again with record entries fronting up for the epic five day drag racing adventure.

The Sydney Dragway NSW Championship has been powering along, with rounds five and six wrapped up over the past couple of months — now it’s all building toward the big finish, with the penultimate round set to hit the track this weekend.

The 2024/25 NDRC season came to a thunderous close at the Nitro Nationals where Lamattina Top Fuel Racing (LTFR) wrapped up a year of power, passion and promise in front of a packed Sydney Dragway crowd.

In sweltering conditions in front of a huge Sydney Dragway crowd, Hydraulink Jim Read Racing was second quickest in qualifying before going on to win the Nitro Nationals C-Final on Saturday evening (November 8), all while having to basically re-learn their Top Fuel dragster.

The DRAG All Bike Nationals presented by Harley Davidson has hosted plenty of exciting two-wheeled action at Dragway at The Bend Saturday November 8, including points-paying racing for the bike brackets of the 2025/2026 ANDRA Regional Sportsman Championship.

It was billed as a one-day NDRC spectacular full of nitro mayhem and the Nitro Nationals presented by PW Brakes and Racer Industries at Sydney Dragway well and truly delivered Saturday, November 8.

The NDRC’s Nitro Nationals, presented by PW Brakes and Racer Industries, will ensure this Saturday November 8 at Sydney Dragway is packed full of nitro mayhem with the finals of the Top Fuel and XPRO Nitro Funny Car Championships.

The 2024/25 PDRC Pro Stock Motorcycle season delivered some of the strongest fields and most competitive racing we’ve seen in recent years. With full fields at every round, the class showcased incredible depth and continued growth as teams across the board stepped up their game to close the performance gap. The result was a season filled with tight racing, quick ETs, and multiple riders vying for the top spot.

With just three sleeps to go until the DRAG All Bike Nationals presented by Harley Davidson at Dragway at The Bend at Dragway at The Bend, up and coming Junior Drag Bike racer Riley Kilvington is hoping to continue a fantastic start to his 2025/2026 season.

The 2025 Pro Mod Drag Racing Season was nothing short of spectacular. 2025 Winternationals Champion Rob Harrington is stepping up his program to hopefully include more competition in 2026.

The Randy Meyer Racing Team is proud to announce the addition of Australian drag racing standout Cheyne Phillips to its 2025 driver lineup for the NHRA Nevada Nationals, taking place October 31–November 2 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Phillips will make his highly anticipated U.S. debut behind the wheel of the GUNK Dragster, joining teammate McKenna Bold, who will also be competing for the team at the event in her rookie season.

John Zappia wheeled his FUCHS Lubricants/Summit Racing Equipment backed Monaro to victory at the Adelaide Jamboree in Outlaw Pro Modified, defeating Johnny Ricca in the final round after Ricca red-lit by one-thousandth of a second.

Hydraulink Jim Read Racing rolled out at Dragway at The Bend on Friday to much fanfare courtesy of their striking livery promoting the Snap-on Socket to Breast Cancer campaign, but sadly, this would be the highlight of their weekend.
