Adelaide DragRace Promotions have released the drag racing calendar for Adelaide International Raceway.
The new promoter is hoping to revitalise drag racing in the Adelaide region with a wide variety of events, starting with a series of test & tunes and street meets.
ANDRA Championship Drag Racing will return with the ANDRA Summer Nationals in December and culminate with ANDRA Grand Finals in April.
The Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars and APSA will take centre stage at Easter and Wild Bunch will feature with a state championship round as well during February.
The popular grudge racing concept will get a run with a King Of The Hill grudge racing event and even more intriguing is a no prep street car shootout.
“We do hope you appreciate this calendar has been put together to cater for all aspects of the Adelaide Drag Racing community and bring back consistency and stability to the locals. Also please keep in mind we may have to make some small tweaks as time goes by and we all see what works and what we can improve on,” says promoter Peter Pisalidis.
