The approaching 2012 Australian Nationals is going to be bathed in Gold – XXXX Gold that is!
Making its Sydney Dragway debut at the 2012 Australian Nationals the XXXX Gold Retreat will be a site to see as it dominates the eastern mound of the venue.
The B-double truck dubbed the XXXX Gold Retreat opens and expands to transform itself into a mobile hotel. Incorporating a stage, screens and of course bar areas there is plenty of seating room inside and out.
Adding a touch of glamour to the Retreat will be the XXXX Gold Angels who will perform dance numbers throughout the day as well as wander through the crowd to say hello and meet some of the race fans.
“We’re very excited to have the XXXX Gold Retreat at one of drag racing’s premier events,” says Sydney Dragway manager Rick Gauci.
“It pushes drag racing, the Australian Nationals and Sydney Dragway to yet another, unprecedented level. Our aim is to take the sport and the venue in a new, fresh direction and into the 21st century as far as partnerships, marketing and promotion are concerned.”
After years of Victorian dominance, Queensland’s favourite brew, XXXX Gold, has been crowned as the nation’s most popular beer. The latest Nielsen figures show thatXXXX’s mid-strength beer – crafted at the iconic Milton brewery in Brisbane – now makesup 12.4 per cent of all beer consumed in Australia!
