The Australian National Drag Racing Association (ANDRA) wishes to advise it is closely monitoring the situation in relation to border restrictions and their possible impact on this month’s scheduled South Coast 660.
The South Coast 660, a round of the extended 19/20/21 Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series, is currently scheduled to be held on January 23 and 24 at Portland’s South Coast Raceway in Victoria.
In recent days, new COVID-19 cases in Victoria and New South Wales have instigated border policy reviews by a number of State Governments.
ANDRA is in close and regular contact with not only South Coast Raceway but also the relevant health authorities, and will continue to monitor the situation ahead of the South Coast 660.
If it so happens that changes to the South Coast 660 event need to occur, ANDRA and South Coast Raceway will announce this at the earliest opportunity.
In the meantime, plans for the event continue while the situation will be regularly re-assessed in light of the newest information.
