Spinozzi Racing would like to take this opportunity to welcome Cale Aronson and Tinzy Smith to Australia for their first visit down-under. Both Cale and Tinzy will be present for this weekend’s 2012 Fuchs Lubricants Winternationals.
“We’ve been working closely with Cale and Tinzy over the last few months and they have been a large part of the quick success that we have endured as a result. As a team to say that we’re excited to have them on deck for the Winternationals is an understatement.
Aronson, a second generation racer (son of Chuck Aronson, who is a former AHRA world champion in Pro Stock) that hails from Chillicothe in Missouri fields a Ford Mustang, powered by an 825 cubic inch Jon Kaase Hemi motor in the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) in the Extreme Pro Stock class. To date, Aronson has been to two ADRL final rounds.
Not only is Cale the driver of the team’s Mustang, he is also responsible for making tuning decisions on the race car further to this Aronson also drives the team’s hauler to and from all of the events.
“First things first, I want to take this opportunity to thank Emilio, Adamo and Rino from Spinozzi Racing to come to Australia and be a part of their racing efforts. We’ve been following the team’s progress closely over the last few months via email and phone communication. Now that we are going to be at a race with them it will allow us to gain so much more information on what they’re doing. The progress that they have been making in such a short period of time sends a worrying message to the other 27 competitors at next weekend Winternationals event,” said Cale.
During the Winternationals event Cale and Tinzy will be working with the Spinozzi Racing team in hope to bring home the team’s first ANDRA Gold Christmas Team on Monday afternoon.
“I can assure you that we just haven’t travelled to Australia for vacation, we’re here do what we do best and that’s to go racing. I’m enthused with the amount of preparation that the team have already put in to make it to the event. It takes the pressure off everyone and that’s a critical factor regardless of what the race is,” added Aronson.
This Friday night war will begin with 28 entries attempting to be one of 16 cars starting for Monday’s eliminations.
