WA’s Attitude Racing team has made its first passes down the track in Europe as part of a campaign with their Top Bike.
Mark Ashelford is doing the riding and qualified second at Gardermoen Raceway in Norway with a 6.95 pass before rain cancelled the event.
The team say it is a satisfying start to their “Aussie Assault”.
“The bike ran very strong and the people in the stands loved it. The rain kept coming so the day was called off leaving the place getters decided by the qualifying round,” Ashelford said.
“We have decked out a 1969, 40ft Scania bus to travel around in with the bike in the back, a workshop and four bunks to sleep in. We have a couple of weeks off now before we race in Sweden so we are going to finish the bus off and get ready for that.”
