Atlantic Oils is thrilled to be continuing their long-running support of Rapisarda Autosport International when they begin another championship campaign this week at the Red CentreNats, when the new Burson Auto Parts 2022/2023 Australian Top Fuel Championship kicks off in Alice Springs.
Established in 1997, Atlantic Oils is an independently owned Australian company, committed to producing quality engine oils and lubricants for the automotive, industrial, agricultural and mining sectors. Atlantic Oils specialises in the production of high performance latest specification oils and lubricants, and has an extensive range of race blended oils for drag racing, plus the ability to meet more industrial needs with custom products.
The partnership between Atlantic Oils and Rapisarda Autosport International has been solidified in success now for over ten years. In that time the team have successfully won multiple Australian Top Fuel Championships, along with being instrumental in bringing international superstar drivers to Australian shores for competition.
Atlantic Oils Company Director Steve Kalamvokis said, “Rapisarda Autosport International have raised awareness for Atlantic Oils and our products in the drag racing industry over the past ten years, our partnership has been built on success, and we are looking forward to that continuing into the new season.”
Drag Racing Sponsorship Manager for Atlantic Oils, Suzanne Lazar added, “With our strong communication and partnership, Atlantic Oils is looking forward to supporting Rapisarda Autosport International once again, and continuing our sponsorship for the new championship season that will take the team right around Australia.”
“Atlantic Oils has been sponsoring Rapisarda Autorsport International for ten years now. During those years, we are pleased to be able to help bring out world renown drives such as Cory McLenathan, Larry Dixon, Tommy Johnson Jr, Ashley Sanford and Dom Lagana, to partner with local stars Wayne Newby and Damien Harris.
“To celebrate our ten year partnership, new crew shirts were made this year, designed by Santino Rapisarda and myself to start the new championship era off back in January. Atlantic Oils and I want to wish the team success in the challenges of the new championship season.”
Santino Rapisarda, RAI Crew Chief for Wayne Newby continued,” We are very proud to have had such a long and ongoing partnership with Atlantic Oils. We are thankful for their tireless support for our team. We are hopeful for a successful season with many win lights to come our way.”
Last season Rapisarda Autosport International earned a number of podium results including two event wins to Damien Harris who finished third in the championship, despite having the disadvantage of missing the opening round due to border restrictions.
Round one of the 2022/2023 Australian Top Fuel Championship is on this week, September 1-2 at Alice Springs International Dragway, and will be streamed live on 7+.
