Racers got in a small amount of testing ahead of the Top Fuel round this weekend at Perth Motorplex.
Andrew Cowin led the way with a 4.91/301 charge, a soft pass to get down the track in the middle of the day. A later pass yielded a 3.31 half track time, compared to the 3.46 on the 4.91, but the blower belt was off the car at around that point.

The track was green early on but actually came around very well by the afternoon with teams recording some high grip levels.
Mark Sheehan was out to familiarise himself with the dragster. After being shut down following a leak in the burnout, Sheehan was back out minutes later and got to half track in 3.36 but was then on fire and rolled through for a 6.09.

John McSweeney debuted in the Jeff Clarke-owned AA/FC Mustang and recorded a 6.46 pass, not a bad way to get reacquainted with supercharged drag racing.
Clarke himself was able to put down a 6.11 during the day in his BB/D.
Kim Newton’s gorgeous VY Commodore Supercharged Outlaw was on track for the first time and looking stunning.
