Top Fuel drag racer and current ANDRA championship leader Damien Harris says there is a little bit of unfinished business at Willowbank Raceway this weekend for the Fuchs Winternationals at Willowbank Raceway.

Leading Top Doorslammer drag racer, Robin Judd, will call it quits at the end of this weekend’s 45th annual Fuchs Winternationals at Willowbank Raceway, Ipswich.

The turbo revolution continues to grow with a number of new flame popping beasts about to hit the track.  

While the focus has been on testing for the Winternationals there has been much more happening on the Willowbank track front in May, kicking off with a round of the popular Street Series.

Spinozzi Racing would like to take this opportunity to welcome Cale Aronson and Tinzy Smith to Australia for their first visit down-under. Both Cale and Tinzy will be present for this weekend’s 2012 Fuchs Lubricants Winternationals.

The 2012 Winter warm ups didn’t quite live up to the hype thanks mostly to mother nature sending some small showers over the track on Saturday and then dropping almost 50mm of rain overnight on the Willowbank Raceway facility.

The late Mick Atholwood – a legend of the sport of drag racing in Australia – will be honoured at Willowbank Raceway’s Fuchs Winternationals with a special memorial trophy to be awarded to the Top Fuel winner.

Former Top Doorslammer champion Ben Bray’s driving services aren’t just in demand in the Team Bray outfit, with the 28 year old spending plenty of time this season driving the Karl Hammoud-owned Factory Xtreme Toyota.

Like his name sake Muhammad, Michael Ali has a desire to be the greatest. It’s going to be a one on one drag racing dust up come the Fuchs Winternationals at Willowbank Raceway on June 8-11 and the championship title will be there for the taking.

Victoria’s Jack Danaher is riding a wave jubilation following his second straight Supercharged Outlaws win in the Rocket Allstars Racing Series and now heads into the Winternationals with a share of the championship points lead.
