XPRO Nitro Funny Cars will welcome a fresh new face next weekend, with third-gen racer Josh Leahy to join the nitro party at Sydney Dragway for what is shaping up as Australia’s largest nitro-fuelled drag racing event: the Gulf Western Oil Nitro Champs.

In the penultimate round of Perth Motorplex’s local nitro series, Nitro Max, there was some international influence with NHRA star Tommy Johnson Jr in the house running the Speed Torque funny car, the event also hosted the final round of the local Top Doorslammer and Top Fuel Motorcycle Summer Slam Series.
