The Queensland-based Bailey Brothers Nitro Funny Car team saw new driver Anthony Begley make his first passes in their Camaro on the weekend.
Begley made a launch and then a 330 feet run, getting signed off on the early stage of his licence.
Begley said the car felt good and everything went to plan, bar a planned test session last week that was unfortunately rained out. The team is now trying to find another date to test and get Begley fully licenced.
