BLAHST IGNITES A NEW ERA AS NAMING RIGHTS SPONSOR OF AUSTRALIAN TOP FUEL CHAMPIONSHIP

BLAHST has been confirmed as the Naming Rights Sponsor of the Australian Top Fuel Championship for 2026 under the National Drag Racing Championship (NDRC), marking a major new partnership at the pinnacle of Australian drag racing.

From this season, the sport’s premier category will officially compete as the BLAHST Australian Top Fuel Championship, signalling a significant commitment from the Australian-owned performance brand to the fastest, loudest and most demanding motorsport on the planet.

BLAHST’s arrival at the top of the sport will coincide with Top Fuel’s long-awaited return to Mildura’s Sunset Strip at the Mildura Twilight Nationals on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 February 2026, a milestone moment for regional drag racing.

BLAHST Co-Founder Leigh Bartlett said the partnership was built on shared values of readiness, efficiency and performance.

“Top Fuel is the fastest motorsport on the planet where everything is decided in seconds. That’s exactly where BLAHST belongs,” Leigh said.

“Becoming Naming Rights Sponsor of the BLAHST Australian Top Fuel Championship isn’t just about branding. It’s about backing the fastest cars on the planet and teams who live by the same principle we do, when it matters most, you have to be ready. We build wall-mounted car care gear that’s ready to perform instantly, no stuffing around, no wasted time.

“Whether it’s on the start line or in your own driveway, the idea is the same: less time setting up, more time doing what you love. Because in racing and in real life, every second counts.”

NDRC Co-Owner Andy Lopez said the partnership would play a key role in the continued growth and momentum of Australian Top Fuel.

“BLAHST understands what Top Fuel demands. There are no warm-up laps and no second chances. When the lights drop, everything is on the line. Great design, engineering excellence, and being leaders in their field makes BLAHST and the Top Fuel Championship a natural fit. Partnerships like this are fundamental to the NDRC delivering a strong national championship for all racers, fans, and broadcasters,” Lopez said.

The impact of the partnership will be seen on track at the Twilight Nationals. The Lamattina Top Fuel Racing (LTFR) team, headed up by multi-time Australian Top Fuel champion Phil Lamattina, is campaigning for hometown glory with two Top Fuel dragsters. The second LTFR dragster will be piloted by Shane Olive and is fully wrapped in bold BLAHST branding.

“Top Fuel is the biggest show in our sport, and the BLAHST partnership is a great endorsement of our category and the NDRC,” Lamattina said.

“Running two cars, including one carrying the BLAHST name, means more side-by-side racing, more firepower on the start line and a bigger spectacle for the fans.

“It’s great to see Shane Olive in an LTFR seat again, and I’m looking forward to racing him and the other Fuel teams at the Twilight Nationals.”

NDRC Season Three will feature seven headline rounds of the BLAHST Australian Top Fuel Championship, before culminating in a Group 1 Grand Final at the Spring Nationals at Dragway at The Bend in October.

Every round of Group 1 Championship Finals action will be broadcast live and free on 7+, with one-hour Top Fuel highlights packages delivered after each round.

The Twilight Nationals will open the 2026 season, with the Sunraysia Drag Racing Association, local volunteers and the Lamattina family tirelessly working hand in hand with the NDRC to prepare Sunset Strip for Top Fuel’s return.
