Sam Fenech’s first Pro Slammer win, which was followed by a dramatic braking area accident, has been pulled from the team over a ‘failure to supply technical data’.
A statement was issued quietly on the IHRA Australia website on 11 February, 2019 that read: “Due to the team failing to fulfil a request to supply technical data, the decision by IHRA Australia has been made to withdraw race car no: 125 from the final results. The event results will stand with no winner declared.”
IHRA Australia declined the opportunity for further comment.
