Australia’s preferred trade supplier of parts, tools and equipment, Burson Auto Parts, will not be continuing the company’s naming rights sponsorship of the Australian Top Fuel Championship.
The company will continue to focus on its primary business objectives, as well as current and future local community involvement and localised grass-roots level support.
Burson Auto Parts partnered with Top Fuel Australia for the last two years as the Top Fuel Championship’s founding naming rights partner.
“The past two years of Burson Auto Parts playing a major part in the Australian Top Fuel Championship has been both exciting and rewarding,” Ms Fiona Gotas, Group Marketing and Communications Manager for Bapcor Trade stated.
“It was great to be involved with the re-birth of front-line Australian drag racing and we greatly appreciate the efforts of everyone involved in delivering these events over the past two seasons. On behalf of the entire team at Burson Auto Parts, we would like to thank the event organisers, race teams, drivers and fans. We wish you all well for the future,” Ms Gotas stated.
Andy Lopez, Australian Top Fuel Championship Promoter stated, “The team at Top Fuel is so grateful for the support Burson Auto Parts has given drag racing over the last two years through their sponsorship of the Burson Auto Parts Top Fuel Championship. That partnership was instrumental in getting the Top Fuel Championship off the ground, which led directly to the creation of the National Drag Racing Championship.
“That is the legacy of the Burson Auto Parts partnership, and something we can all be very proud of,” Mr Lopez concluded.
