Greg Carter ran .373 seconds under the national record for SS/A with a 6.986 second pass at Perth Motorplex on Saturday.

Powered by a 667ci Steve Schmidt Competition Engine, Carter broke the track record once again with the 6.98 at 198.67mph.

As this was not a championship Rocket Allstars round the national record could not be reset but watch out for the Rocket Allstars, Westernationals at the Perth Motorplex in March next year where Greg could change the ink on that mark.
