Queensland’s Willowbank Raceway rumbled to the sound of ten Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars on May 12, with round three of the Queensland Drag Racing Championships also taking place.

The normal open test and tune prior to the Nitro Thunder event was a private track hire affair this year with limited numbers, but packed in plenty of action.

2018 Hidden Valley Drag Racing season kicked off on last weekend with the annual test and tune/street meeting combination.

Round three of the Atura Blacktown NSW Championship Series was a little wind blown – well a lot. But the racers and officials persisted in what was a long day for the well deserved winners.

Willowbank Raceway was a hive of activity across the weekend as Jet Car Thunder delivered another adrenaline-fueled night to motorsport fans on Saturday while Street Machine Magazine brought their Drag Challenge Weekend to play as well.

The ANDRA Grand Finals and Southern Thunder combined for a dusty and trying event at Adelaide International Raceway last month.

Workshop Wars presented by Gulf Western is a new initiative from Sydney Dragway which spices up their Race 4 Real street meets with some of Sydney’s quickest street cars going head to head. 

The 96fm Powerpalooza at Perth Motorplex on April 7, 2018 combined drag racing, speedway and burnouts into an entertainment spectacle for West Australian motorsport audiences.
