When the Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars come to Willowbank Raceway this Saturday, the Series’ local drivers will be enjoying their first opportunity to race at their home-track.

ANDRA have announced the updated Summit Sportsman Series calendar that will see the ANDRA sportsman series run inconjuction with some APDR events. Major points of interest see the Australian Nationals returning to its spiritual home at Calder Park Raceway, and Willowbank Raceway also hosting two rounds of the Summit Sportsman Series which includes the Winternationals.

The Paul Mouhayet driven Moits twin turbo, Proline 481X powered Mustang cemented the Sydneysider as the fastest man on earth in a doored car over the quarter, eclipsing is old mark with a booming 274.33 mph run at the Street Car Supernationals in St Louis.

Sydney Dragway in conjunction with ANDRA Championship Drag Racing is proud to bring you the East Coast Nationals – an event that will showcase some of the fastest and most explosive vehicles on the planet. Supporting the top echelon of the sport will be a large number of dedicated sportsman level race teams competing in the ANDRA Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series on the same weekend!

NHRA rookie Wayne Newby will lead Rapisarda Autosport International at the 61st annual Chevrolet Performance U.S Nationals at Indianapolis from September 2-7.

The battle for the 2015 Street Series will come to a head at Willowbank Raceway this Saturday 5 September, with more than 100 local drag racing heroes set to fight to secure their ticket to the finals by placing amongst the ‘top eight’ in the Street Sedan, Street Bike or Powder Puff (ladies only) points standings.
