When Debbie O’Rourke arrives at Willowbank Raceway’s Fuchs Winternationals (June 4-7), it will be with a singular goal in mind – a top three spot in the 2015 ANDRA Top Alcohol Championship.

Steve Reed and the Reed Racing team have seen their preparation for the biggest show in Australian drag racing – the Fuchs Winternationals (4-7 June) – off to a strong start with a ‘best ever’ performance for the Allstar Batteries Top Alcohol Funny Car during pre-event testing.

The 5th Pioneer and Legends Awards – hosted by the Australian Nostalgia Fuel Association – are rapidly approaching this year, the date being Saturday 8th August, and again at Sydney Dragway.

Coming off a stellar performance at the Queensland Drag Racing Championships at Willowbank Raceway, the Bellert Racing Team are set to turn heads at the Fuchs Winternationals with three dragsters in two different Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series brackets.

Grant O’Rourke was involved in a head-on road accident this morning in Darwin and had to be taken to hospital for observation. The team’s Facebook page reported the news, explaining that it was a serious crash with the other car coming into Grant’s lane, resulting in the head-on impact. He is currently in Darwin Hospital for observation only and is expected to be released within the next day or so. The team thanks everyone for their messages and well wishes.
