2014 Top Alcohol Champion Steven Ham will spanner Bill Goonan’s Top Doorslammer Camaro at the Fuchs Winternationals June 4-7 at Willowbank Raceway.

Current Top Fuel championship leader Damien Harris has thrown down the gauntlet to closest rival Phil Lamattina ahead of the upcoming Fuchs Winternationals – the championship finale and the biggest show in Australian drag racing (June 4-7).

Coming off a stellar performance at the Queensland Drag Racing Championships at Willowbank Raceway, the Bellert Racing Team are set to turn heads at the Fuchs Winternationals with three dragsters in two different Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series brackets.

Grant O’Rourke was involved in a head-on road accident this morning in Darwin and had to be taken to hospital for observation. The team’s Facebook page reported the news, explaining that it was a serious crash with the other car coming into Grant’s lane, resulting in the head-on impact. He is currently in Darwin Hospital for observation only and is expected to be released within the next day or so. The team thanks everyone for their messages and well wishes. Lucas Oil Top Fuel dragster driver Richie Crampton capped an extraordinary calendar year with a triumphant victory at the rain-delayed NHRA Kansas Nationals on Sunday at Heartland Park Topeka.

The Fuchs Winternationals on June 4-7 at Willowbank Raceway will see an oversubscribed Pro Stock Motorcycle field as nine riders vie for eight spots on race day.

Brisbane-based Drag Racing legend, ‘The Pom’ Steve Read will be taking the Brisbane Truck Centre brand down the quarter mile at 300mph at the 2015 Fuchs Lubricants Winternationals at Willowbank Raceway, Ipswich on June 5-7, after signing a marketing partnership deal with the Rocklea-based Truck Sales facility.

The Fast Series recently wrapped up at Perth Motorplex with Mick Fenton taking the championship victory for the Sportsman category in his Chevy II Nova.
