Grant O’Rourke has broken through for his first ever event win at Adelaide International Raceway on Sunday, taking the Top Doorslammer Springnationals victory over six-time champion John Zappia.

Phil Lamattina has regained the advantage in Top Fuel, John Zappia won his seventh Top Doorslammer Championship as a runner up to Grant O’Rourke and Luke Crowley virtually assured back-to-back titles in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the Fuchs Spring Nationals on Sunday.

Tremaniac Racing got the win they were looking for during the ANDRA Drag Racing Series Pro Stock Round 4 at the Benaraby Nationals. 

It was a Lamattina one-two while Stuart Bishop and Luke Crowley stole the top qualifying position on their final passes to take the momentum into eliminations on Sunday.

Super Comp promised fireworks at Adelaide International Raceway and it delivered with at least nine National 1000 feet records under threat.

In a statement released today Sydney Dragway has confirmed it will commit to paying a minimum 50% prize money for the upcoming Australian Nationals, October 31 to November 2, 2014.

Round three the APSA Pro Street series was unleashed at Benaraby Raceway over the 1/8th mile distance, unfortunately despite our best efforts we have not been able to acquire detailed results. However here are the class winners, with some great videos and photos of the action.

Round five of Calder Park’s Street Outlaws exploded with a tough field of cars and bikes showing up, with the sun shining, the lanes full and a sticky track there were many new competitors out to try their luck and list their names on the Top 16 lists.

Western Australian drag racer Ryan Learmonth will be making his professional debut this weekend at Adelaide International Raceway, competing in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the Fuchs Springnationals.
