The final round of the Queensland Street Car Magazine 2011 Eighth Mile Drag Racing Series was held at western Queensland’s Ironbark Raceway on the weekend.

The 2011 Track Championship Series came to a thrilling end on Saturday night at Hidden Valley Drag Strip where the series came down to the final passes of the season.

Hidden Valley Drag Racing Association President, Jay Jukes is set to be strapped into a drag car for the first time in four years this Friday night at Hidden Valley Drag Strip, but this time he will be a passenger. Jukes last competed in July 2007 in a Holden Commodore, his personal best being 11.20 seconds at 128mph.
