Davies Racing have unveiled their striking Mustang doorslammer at Summernats 30.
The Queen of Outlaw 10.5 racing, driver Michelle Davies recently retired her wild Torana, and will be steering the Mustang for Top Doorslammer/Pro Slammer duties in the near future.
The team bought the former Stephen Dupond ride and have since given the car a complete overhaul for a brilliant new look – and true to husband’s Gareth’s word, there is not a Ford badge to be seen.
The car’s livery is another spectacular creation by the experts at Custom Body Works.
With testing immanent, the team still don’t expect to travel for a while until Michelle has tamed the new beast, but judging how she handled the Torana, we don’t expect that to be too long.
