Darren Morgan Racing are pumped and ready to race at the Nitro Champs this Saturday after testing at Sydney Dragway yesterday.
Perfect weather provided a great atmosphere for the days testing where Morgan completed two passes.
Morgan and the team have been very busy over the past few weeks preparing for the Nitro Champs, as well as filming series three of Upper Middle Bogan.
“It was really important for us to test the car before this event, to ensure the dragster is ready to put down some numbers this Saturday,” Morgan said.
DMR will be debuting the new look of their prime mover, after its transformation over the past fortnight thanks to John Judd Industries and PPG.
The AEG Powertools Top Fuel Dragster will be joined along side six other Top Fuel teams.
The teams will be running a three round format.
Round one is scheduled for 3pm followed by the semi finals at 5.15pm and finals at 7.30pm.
“We are looking to pick up some important championship points this Saturday,” Morgan said.

The 400 Thunder Series final will be the Winternationals to be held at Willowbank Raceway June 9, 10, 11 and 12.
