Whyalla’s Steel City Raceway will light up with not one, but two great events this weekend.

First, the Riverland Nationals will take place on Saturday the 30th of October, before round two of the Steel City Club Championship will be held on Sunday, the 31st of October.

Steel City Drags President, Mark Kuhn, said a fantastic weekend of racing lies ahead.

“This is truly an exciting double header weekend of racing at Steel City Raceway, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to the track for two huge days of action,” Kuhn said.

“More than 115 racers are entered for the weekend at this stage with more than 80 signed up for both the Saturday and Sunday.

“Exciting racing is all but guaranteed and entries are still open, so if you are keen to take part, you still have time – just head to the website to enter right away!

“Saturday’s action will kick off at 11.00am with racing from the Street Car, Super Street, Super Sedan, Modified, Modified Bike, Outlaws and Junior Dragster brackets.

“Then we will back up and do it all again on Sunday from 10.00am, with all of our Club Championship brackets set to hit the track in the pursuit of valuable title points.”
