To highlight the year just past, Dragnews is pleased to announce its Track Snaps photo competition. Are you really the gun photographer you think you are?
Our Track Snaps competition gives you the chance to post your favourite drag racing photographic moments for 2012 online and have your peers and the general public judge them.
We have two categories.
Professional Category. This category is for photographers who have gained media access to an event or contributed photos to a magazine or website.
Amateur Category: This is where you do not fall into the professional category and have taken a picture that you think will win.
To Enter you must be a registered user of dragnews.com.au
ALL PHOTOS MUST HAVE BEEN TAKEN BY YOU, MUST BE DRAG RACING RELATED AND MUST HAVE BEEN TAKEN IN AUSTRALIA DURING THE 2012 CALENDAR YEAR.
How to Enter
1. Under the Track Snaps menu, select “upload a photo”. Select your category and upload your image.
Try and keep your image to a reasonable size but it must have dimensions greater than 600 pixels horizontally and 250 pixels vertically and be a small file size. The file name of the photo will be the heading for the image.
2. Title your photo. This title must not contain your name or business name. We prefer if the image is not watermarked but if you do watermark it ensure that it does not obscure the image.
3. In the description tell us what the photo is of and why you think it is one of your favourites.
4. Then press “upload”…Done
5. You may upload up to 10 different photos as a Professional or 3 different photos as an Amateur.
The photo will be moderated and added to the gallery you have chosen and appear online. Voting will not be possible until voting opens.
