The hype continues to build for East Coast Thunder with the nationally broadcast Today Show on the Nine Network confirming that the weather report will be broadcast from Sydney Dragway on Wednesday 2nd November 2016.
Weather presenter Steve Jacobs will be in the hot seat for several activities, to be broadcast 5 times over the course of the morning program. At 6.15, 6.45, 7.17, 8.05 and 8.30am Sydney Dragway will take pride of place on one of the most popular TV shows in Australia.
With a viewership of around 500,000, the Today Show is one of the leading programs on breakfast TV. Combined with the 4 page lift out in the Daily Telegraph on Saturday 29th October and a strong radio advertising program to compliment a comprehensive Social Media campaign, the pre-event promotion for the East Coast Thunder will reach well in excess of 2.5 million individuals in the lead up to the event.
The East Coast Thunder also sees a new addition to the schedule – an autograph session on Friday evening at 6pm and the AEG Powertools “Hour of Power” final qualifying session at 6.45pm Friday. The East Coast Thunder event is ready to deliver drag racing fans great entertainment across two huge days of racing.
The East Coast Thunder forms the second round of the 400 Thunder Professional Drag Racing Series, and the second round of the 400 Thunder Sportsman Series.
