It was no holds barred at the 2014 X-Champs in Sydney as 11 new records were set across eight classes.
In Competition, Alistair McClure smashed his own ET record of 6.450 to set a new BB/AA mark of 6.383 while Kyle Putland destroyed the previous A/A record of 6.872 with a 6.702.
Super Stock saw four records fall as Rob Nunn reset both ends for B/AP with a 7.213 ET and new speed of 188.81 mph to wipe out the previous best of 7.272 and 188.28 mph. Current champion Darren Parker broke his own B/APA ET record of 7.389 with a 7.342 and finally X-Champs winner Les Heintz put down an 8.398 pass to set a new mark for B/MP.
Super Compact made its long awaited 2014 debut and it didn’t take long for Domenic Rigoli to set both ends of the CC/SC record thanks to an ET of 6.851 and a speed reaching 198.03 mph.
In Competition Bike, Daryn Schuster was ecstatic to run 157.43 mph to set a a brand new D/AB speed record.
And finally in Modified, the Andrew Musgrave and Mark Hinchelwood outfit reset both ends of their own AA/MA record of 6.550 and 209.82 mph to a shiny new 6.375 ET and speed of 219.22 mph.
