Following the recent announcement of a comprehensive FOX Sports TV deal, 400 Thunder’s coverage will be bolstered by a free live streaming package by Epicentre.tv.
Epicentre will bring all the 400 Thunder action from all 10 events, starting with this weekend’s East Coast Nationals at Sydney Dragway.
Chief Operating Officer at Epicentre.tv, Luke Campbell, said he looks forward to taking the 400 Thunder events to the world.
“Epicentre.tv is extremely excited to partner with 400 Thunder for their maiden season of competition. It’s clear that they’ve invested heavily to ensure that the sport of drag racing returns to the glory days and our partnership will provide viewers with the most comprehensive coverage ever produced,” Campbell said.
Fans will also be able to watch each round on demand on the Epicentre.tv platform, with full replays of the action available at the conclusion of each event.
Epicentre.tv is an online media platform broadcasting world class sports events from all over the globe and works with brands such as the UFC, International Tennis Federation, World Body Boarding Tour and the Australian Baseball League.
400 Thunder Series spokesperson, Tony Wedlock said Epicentre.tv’s streaming is the ideal compliment to the weekly FOX Sports coverage.
“400 Thunder promised an extensive broadcast package incorporating TV and online, and Epicentre.tv’s live streaming platform, in conjunction with the FOX Sports agreement, delivers on that promise,” Wedlock said.
“While I am disappointed I can’t be trackside at Sydney Dragway for the inaugural 400 Thunder event, I won’t miss a pass because of the Epicentre.tv live stream.
“400 Thunder looks forward to working with Epicentre.tv to ensure Australia’s professional drag racing series is available to all fans.”
The opening round of the 400 Thunder Series, the East Coast Nationals, will be live from 3pm AEDT Saturday and 12:30pm AEDT on Sunday at http://www.epicentre.tv/promoter/400-thunder/.
