Andrew Searle has unveiled his ACME Composite Supply 1967 Ford Mustang Top Doorslammer for licensing and testing today at Willowbank Raceway.
Searle, who has spent the last five months putting this operation together, is a welcome return to the Top Doorslammer ranks. The car is the former Ben Bray Monaro re-bodied, with Team Bray also instrumental in helping Searle get back on track. Searle formerly raced a Ford Customline Top Doorslammer in the late 90s and early 2000s.
“I would like to thank everyone that has helped me get the car to this point and appreciate everyone’s time and effort,” said Searle.
“Special thanks to Team Bray and family for allowing me to build my dream car in your workshop and making sure it got here today.”
If licensing is successful, Searle will compete at the East Coast Nationals this weekend at Sydney Dragway.
