The “Mad Professor” Rob Taylor was back on track again today at Sydney Dragway with his new Camaro Top Doorslammer in quick time following his recent accident at Calder Park.
It was fortunate Taylor already had a new car in the pipeline to enable such a quick return, a return that would have been even quicker had there not been some extenuating health issues from the accident, which saw his previous Camaro destroyed.
While it was belting hot today at Sydney Dragway with track temps in the 140F range on the old scale, the team did take a few stabs to begin the sorting process for what is a stunning new ride.
