“We have never taken the Procomp Motorsport “Crusher” HQ Monaro to Darwin before and we are very eager to see the new Hidden Valley facility” said Zappia.
“From all reports the new racing surface is very similar to my home track here in Perth so it is going to be an interesting event.”
“If the weather is right and the track holds up there is no reason why we can’t give Darwin fans a taste of what Doorslammer racing is all about.”
Zappia will have some tough competition as he goes head to head with Territory locals Matt Abel and Scott MacLean in an event that is sure to see the current track record topple.
Zappia will be on track with seven other Doorslammers from 7pm Friday the 13 May in the first of two qualifying sessions before the official opening of the all new facility on Saturday at 6pm.
