After a three year hiatus from the sport allowing Pro Alcohol racer Darren Fry to work on growing his fabrication business – the Dazza’s Steel Fab race team is ready to debut a whole new look.
Fry hasn’t been out of the seat completely, logging some flight time behind the butterflies of the LA Hooker Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car for Graeme Cowin.
Meanwhile his Pro Alcohol Funny Car will be undergoing testing this week with a new clutch and transmission package that needs to be sorted before the Winternationals.
The Dazza’s Steel Fab team has also grown in the down time with next generation Brodie Fry joining his brother in the Junior Dragster ranks. Brodie licensed his C/JD last weekend at Willowbank Raceway while older sibling Corey stepped up to A/JD.
