FUCHS Lubricants and R&J Batteries are proud to announce their continued partnership with Lamattina Top Fuel Racing (LTFR) as the team gears up for an exciting 2025 season.
The first event on the team’s calendar will be the 54th Annual Electrical Group Training Westernationals at Perth Motorplex on 1–2 March 2025, marking Top Fuel’s only appearance in Western Australia for the season.
LTFR team owner Phil Lamattina is thrilled about the upcoming season, particularly with the ongoing support of these industry-leading brands, as well as the addition of a new logo on the rear wing of the LTFR dragster.
“The Muirs brand is a strong one, and our relationship with the Muirs team is even stronger, spanning more than 50 years. Our family has built an incredible bond with Muirs, and we are proud to have them on the car and as part of our race team this season.
Lamattina continued, “Of course, we’re also incredibly excited to have FUCHS Lubricants and R&J Batteries backing our team. Their support ensures we can keep pushing forward and delivering top-tier performances on the track.”
A key change for 2025 is the servicing and preparation of the team’s car, which will now take place at the Lamattina family farm in Wemen. This initiative sees Phil’s sons working alongside a dedicated group of local team members to maintain and enhance the performance of the LTFR vehicles.
“This is a real team effort,” Lamattina added. “Having the boys and our local crew involved in preparing the car is fantastic—we’re all invested in making this season a success.”
The 2024/25 season marks a historic milestone for LTFR, with the team making its first-ever Westernationals appearance under the FUCHS Lubricants, R&J Batteries, and Muirs partnership.
“We can’t wait to bring Top Fuel action back to Perth Motorplex. It’s a huge event, and we’re ready to put on a show for the fans,” Lamattina said.
