Lamattina Top Fuel Racing will take a new structure, cutting-edge componentry and be competing at a brand-new race track for the upcoming season, but they the Top Fuel team will be supported by the longest partnership in Australian professional drag racing, FUCHS Lubricants.
The sponsorship and commercial relationship between LTFR and FUCHS in one of the strongest in Australian motorsport, over 20 years working together.
The world’s largest independent lubricant manufacturer, FUCHS Lubricants has been a staple of the Lamattina operation, both on and off the track.
Phil Lamattina, Team Principal and Driver explained, “The team will be using all its resources on a single car this season, we want another championship.”
“We have always had the very best products and we are so proud to continue to have FUCHS as an ongoing part of our team.”
Using a specific FUCHS Titan Nitro blend, the German based, Australian made products are also a technical contributor to the team’s racing efforts.
The 2023 Top Fuel Championship will see the team launch a new LTFR logo and branding for their race cars as well as the team transporters.
Lamattina added, “The new look of the team and the way we present has gone up even further. FUCHS’ new ‘Moving your world’ campaign has inspired us to push our team forward and we will be working relentlessly to see that pursuit of the ‘best possible race team’ ethos transfer to the track.”

The Lamattina family not only use FUCHS Lubricants in the racing operation, with FUCHS products also used in the maintenance and servicing of the family’s farming, transport and logistics machinery.
