The biggest and baddest radial tyre event in Australia is now upon us, the Kenda Tires 660 Drag Radial Series’ Radial Riot event is shaping up with three days of testing ahead of the big show this Saturday at Willowbank Raceway.
There are a record 160 plus entries for Radial Riot and the first day of testing is in the books, with a few racers firing early shots in what will be an epic few days of racing.
We have seen a few new rides already appear including Stew Walsh’s wicked Camaro, and Matt Grubisa’s bad to the bone Malibu formerly raced by Jason Carter and Mark Micke in the U.S.
George Josevski who broke the internet with his Jamboree fireball is back, and ran a PB with his RB30 SOHC VL at a 7.05, chasing the sixes over the quarter.
Daniel Szabolics isn’t just smashing out ETs in his Outlaw Radial Camaro, his big balls HQ streeter romped to a 6.78 202MPH also over the quarter.
Wade Wagstaff was the quickest over the eighth with a 3.66 at 202mph, the boys certainly will be looking to better their record from Sydney.
