Testing is run and done, $5000 was won in the Small Tyre Smackdown, and we are prepped for race day at the Kenda Tires 660 Drag Radial Series at Sydney Dragway.
Scott Cortina came away from Friday’s testing with $5k in the pocket winning the Small Tyre Smackdown, a four-car shootout during testing with a $1k buy in. Cortina out-gunned West Aussie Steve Lundy in the final.
It was another day that featured a load of PBs and wheelstands, we didn’t see the outright radial record threatened, 3.71 from Wade Wagstaff’s blown 57 again leading the Outlaw Radial pack.
Racing starts 9am Saturday July 29 at Sydney Dragway.
