The biggest radial tyre showdown in Australia is underway, with Radial Riot igniting Willowbank Raceway as part of the Kenda Tires 660 Drag Radial Series.
Several intense days of testing set the stage for Friday night’s Outlaw 275 Shootout, where $10,000 was on the line and bragging rights were up for grabs. In a hard-hitting final, Simon O’Carroll unleashed the fury of his blown harlequin Camaro, storming to a stunning 3.919 and new Outlaw 275 Australian Record at 196mph to snatch the cash and the glory from Daniel Nunziante, who clocked a solid 4.173 in pursuit.
Radial Riot crowning the series champions will be tearing up Willowbank Raceway all day Saturday Oct 11.
